Home away from home
Living and working internationally is the new normal, especially for the newer generations. Despite this, living and working facilities for travelling professionals seem to be stuck in the past. Zoku is trying to change this. Zoku opened its Amsterdam doors in 2016 with the hope of creating a community of individuals living and working together. Zoku was one of Europe’s first hotels offering this kind of flexible hybrid of home and office. It’s an extended stay-hotel with private smart lofts and shared social spaces.
Family hotel
The word Zoku is Japanese, meaning family, tribe, or clan. At Zoku you can live, work, relax, and socialize with a community of like minded individuals. It’s not the hotel rooms, but the communal spaces that Zoku has optimized for convenience and flexibility. This creates an ideal mix of home and office, and of those staying at Zoku and Amsterdam locals. The idea is to make everyone there feel part of the same Zoku family.
