Companies are paying increasing attention to the health and vitality of their employees. Health and vitality enhances work performance and reduces costly absenteeism.
Therefore, companies are gradually providing gyms, healthier food in work cafeterias, daycare facilities and laundry services to promote healthy lifestyles.
But does caring for your employees’ health and vitality really work? Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention believe that it does. Research shows that for every dollar invested in promoting healthy activities such as sports, balanced eating and preventive care employers will, within two to five years, receive three to six times as much in return.
